Common questions
Do you work on homes as well as businesses?
Yes. Home jobs include split systems, ducted systems and heat pump hot water. Commercial work covers VRV/VRF, package units, refrigeration, maintenance and fit-outs.
Ducted or split system: which suits my home?
Split systems suit one or two rooms and cost less to install. Ducted systems heat and cool the whole home from hidden vents and let you control each zone separately. It depends on your layout, ceiling space and how you use each room. I'll recommend an option at the site visit.
What is a heat pump hot water system?
It heats water by drawing warmth from the surrounding air, much like an air conditioner running in reverse. It uses a fraction of the electricity of a standard electric hot water system. Government rebates are sometimes available, and I can check what applies to you.
How often should air conditioning be serviced?
Most home systems benefit from a service once a year. Commercial systems usually need quarterly or six-monthly maintenance, depending on how hard they work.
Which brands do you work with?
All the major air conditioning and refrigeration brands. If you already have a brand in mind I'll install it; if not, I'll recommend one that suits the job and your budget.
